<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe adapted to absorb shock due to striking load as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The shoe 5 includes: a spherical surface section 11 slidingly contacting a hemispherical sliding surface 4a formed on a piston 4; and a flat end face 12 slidingly contacting a swash plate 3. An internal space S is formed by forming the spherical surface section 11 and the end face 12 in the shape of a thin wall. Radial grooves 14 as recessed sections radially formed around the central axis of the shoe 5 on the side of the end face 12 and the spherical surface section 11, and an annular groove 15 as a recessed section formed to surround the central axis are formed in an inner surface facing the internal space S of the shoe 5.
