摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorocarbon-free type heat pump applying magneto-caloric effects capable of effectively using magneto-caloric effects of magnetic materials while enhancing the efficiency of the device, reducing the size and improving safety. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pair of magnetic field generation means and magnetic members MB, heats and cools fluid by using the magneto-caloric effects, and transfers heat to a high-temperature side heat exchange part and a low-temperature side heat exchange part via the fluid. A flow passage switching mechanism includes a high-temperature side flow passage switching mechanism 20 switching a high-temperature side fluid passage communicating with the high-temperature side heat exchange part and a low-temperature side flow passage switching mechanism 30 switching a low-temperature side fluid passage communicating with the low-temperature side heat exchange part. The flow passage switching mechanism switches the fluid flow passage making each heat exchange part communicate with each magnetic member MB, so that in the same magnetic member MB, a time when the fluid is supplied from the high-temperature side heat exchange part is made equal to a time when the fluid is supplied from the low-temperature side heat exchange part.
