PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing case in which a formed wheel can be housed for safe transportation without damaging a formed grindstone formed on the outer periphery of a cylindrical base. SOLUTION: The housing case 10 houses therein the formed wheel having the formed grindstone 6 on the outer periphery of the cylindrical base 4 and an opening 8 at the center of the cylindrical base. The housing case includes a box 12 whose top is open and which has a cylindrical side wall 14 encircling the outer periphery of the formed wheel, a bottom wall 16 closing the lower part of the cylindrical side wall, and a protrusion 18 rising from the center of the bottom wall to fit into the opening at the center of the cylindrical base, a lid 22 attached detachably to the open top of the box, a first cushioning sheet 20 laid on the bottom wall to cover the protrusion, and a second cushioning sheet 24 laid on the lid.
