The low-loss compact radiating element comprises at least one resonator (10) mounted on a radiating ground plane and at least one feed stripline (1), and is such that: the stripline (1) is screened and moulded in a resin (30), the resin having at least one face (34) covered with a metal layer constituting the radiating ground plane on which the resonator (10) is mounted; the moulded screened stripline is mounted orthogonally to the metallized face of the resin, beneath the radiating ground plane; and a metal transition element (13) is connected to the second end (8) of the metal track (2) so as to extend this track to the outside of the resin (30), the metal transition element (13) being pressed against the resonator (10) in order for said resonator (10) to be directly excited. Application in particular to active antennas.
