HIGH-FREQUENCY COIL AND MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING DEVICE

Provided is a high-frequency coil for reception of an MRI device formed by a plurality of surface coils arranged at an interval.  The high-frequency coil can reproducibly and easily reduce the electromagnetic coupling between the adjacent surface coils.  Between two adjacent surface coils is arranged an electromagnetic coupling preventing coil which cancels a magnetic flux interlinking the other RF coil by a magnetic flux generated by one of the two adjacent surface coils.  The electromagnetic coupling preventing coil includes a capacitor which adjusts the electromagnetic coupling to be minimum within a range having the resonance frequency lower than that of the surface coil.
