PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-shaped cosmetic product which impregnates a cosmetic base containing polysaccharides uniformly, is easy to be used, applies effects of moisturizing or the like to a whole face, and is excellent in a safety property and an application feeling, too. SOLUTION: After the cosmetic base containing (a) the polysaccharides and (b) a polyhydric alcohol is impregnated into a sheet-shaped holding body, the sheet-shaped cosmetic product is obtained by freeze-drying the holding body.
