<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type radiation image detector, and a radiological imaging system by which an operator can perform a medical treatment while simultaneously observing a subject and the radiation image, and also, the exposure dosage of the radiation, with which the operator is irradiated, can be reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This radiological imaging system includes: a radiation detector 36 wherein an electronic cassette 20 detects the radiation X which is irradiated from the irradiation surface 36A by transmitting a patient, and image information indicating the radiation image in response to the detected radiation amount is outputted; a display 42 which is arranged on the opposite side from the irradiation surface 36A of the radiation detector 36 so that the display surface 42A may face the opposite direction from the irradiation surface 36A, and by which the radiation image based on the image information having been outputted from the radiation detector 36 is displayed on the display surface 42A; and a lead plate 38 which is interposed between the radiation detector 36 and the display 42, and shields the radiation having transmitted the radiation detector 36 in such a manner that the radiation may not be irradiated to the display 42.
