PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide use for treatment of diseases corresponding to inhibition of protein kinase activity, especially, treatment of tumor diseases, and a method for treating the diseases. SOLUTION: A new substituted N-(3-benzoylaminophenyl)-4-pyridyl-2-pyrimidineamine derivative is an inhibitor excellent in protein kinase activity, and especially expresses inhibition for one or more Bcr-Ab1, variant Bcr-Ab1, c-Ab1, Raf, receptor tyrosine kinase PDGF-R and the like, and inhibition for two or more of them. Such type of a kinase can be used for treating diseases particularly associated with abnormal or excessive activity, e.g., treatment of leukemia and solid tumors. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
