PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera and a photographing system in which a comment modifying a keyword can be synthesized from a keyword for advising photography and the contents of an image obtained by a result of photography on the basis of the keyword, and displayed. SOLUTION: In a digital camera 10, a scene extraction part 18 extracts information concerned with an object candidate to be photographed next and a candidate display part 20a notifies a photographer of the information concerned with the object candidate to be photographed next on the basis of the information output from the scene extraction part 18. A feature detection part 15 detects features of the photographed image on the basis of the notification displayed on the candidate display part 20a. Then, a phrase synthesis part 21 creates a modified phrase on the basis of outputs from the scene extraction part 18 and the feature detection part 15 and displays the phrase on the candidate display part 20a together with the photographed image to notify the photographer about the phrase.
