PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a floor-installed air conditioner compatible in a comfortable blowoff air current and reduction in manufacturing cost and using a vertical wind direction changing blade also as an outlet port opening/closing shutter. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is arranged with the vertical wind direction changing blade 7 at the outlet port 4, and equipped with a holding member 9 for holding and moving a rotation fulcrum 7c of the vertical wind direction changing blade 7. The vertical wind direction changing blade 7 protrudes ahead of the outlet port 4 via the variable holding member 9 and controls the vertical wind direction to enable optimal air current control. During shutdown, the holding member 9 is stored in the outlet port 4, and the outlet port can be blocked without an outlet port opening/closing shutter by using the vertical wind direction changing blade 7.
