<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for monitoring IP multicast communication, which monitor communicability of IP multicast channels in units of sender information (S) and of specific group information (G). <P>SOLUTION: When an instruction to start a test is received from a transmission/reception control part 014 by a source node for transferring an IP multicast maintenance packet with an IP multicast packet, packets other than the IP multicast packets for test (S, G) are transferred to a first communication data buffer 011, the IP multicast packets for test (S, G) are transferred to a second communication data buffer 012. When an instruction to complete the test is received from the transmission/reception control part 014, transfer of the IP multicast packets for test (S, G) to the second communication data buffer 012 is canceled, all the received packets are transferred to the first communication data buffer 011, and the transmission/reception control part 014 performs read control in which priority is set on the basis of allowable delay time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
