<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation damper capable of preventing any disagreeable air flow in a room, and preventing ingress of dust in the room by closing a passage by using the air flow with a large air pressure difference between indoors and outdoor, and reducing the air-conditioning power consumption. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ventilation damper 1 has a fin 6 arranged turnably in a frame 5 so as to open/close a passage 4 by the turn, and a turning means of a fin. The turning means has a transmitting means for transmitting the turning force of a reversible electric motor to the fin. The transmitting means permits the free turn of the fin toward the passage closing position when the fin is turned to the passage opening position. The fin includes a shaft part 41, and a pair of fin body parts 42, 43 extending from the shaft part 41 in the radial direction, and is constantly urged so as to be turned toward the passage opening position. Fore ends 16, 17 of the fin body parts are curved to generate the turning moment toward the passage closing position by the air flow passing through the passage on the fin.
