PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope capable of widening the adjusting range in the direction of the leading end of the needle pipe of a puncture needle by making it easy to bend the puncture needle while preventing the damage of the inner wall of an inserting channel. SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic endoscope 1, a guide part 322, which can take the first state housed in the needle pipe 31 and the second state of being protruded from the leading end 311 of the needle pipe 31 when the leading end 311 of the needle pipe 31 moves through the inserting channel in a leading end direction to be brought into contact with the inner wall surface of the inserting channel to slide, is provided to the leading end part of the stylet 32 of a puncture needle assembly 3 and constituted so as to prevent the leading end 311 of the needle pipe 31 from coming into contact with the inner wall surface of the inserting channel in the second state.
