A polymer electrolyte battery is provided to prevent degradation of internal flow of electric current in a pouch type battery, and to improve lifespan characteristics of a battery. A polymer electrolyte battery comprises two electrodes having electrode tabs(21,23), a polymer electrolyte interposed between the two electrodes, and a pouch-like casing receiving the two electrodes and the polymer electrolyte, wherein the electrode tabs pass through the pouch-like casing. In the battery, a first region(140) including a zone overlapped with the electrode tabs on the largest-area surface has a different height from the remaining second region(110,120). |
