PURPOSE: A fuel pump control method of a hybrid LPI vehicle is provided to prevent the fuel amount supply shortage in acceleration situation by opening a fuel shut-off valve. CONSTITUTION: When an engine stops, an idle stop state is determined(1). If the engine stops and it is in the idle stop state, the operation of a fuel pump is maintained, the energy of a battery is monitored, and the fuel pressure drop is monitored(2). It is detected whether the battery energy information is lower than a set lower limit value or not(3). The battery energy information is smaller than the set lower limit value. The fuel pump is stopped and the fuel pressure descending phenomenon is monitored(4). The battery energy information is larger than the set upper limit value. The fuel pressure fall value decides whether it is bigger than the set value(5). When the battery energy information is bigger than the set upper limit value and the fuel pressure fall value is bigger than the set value, the fuel pump is operated(6).
