<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microstrip antenna capable of performing impedance matching easily, while suppressing an unnecessary cross-polarized component. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A feeding strip line 12 is connected to a prescribed position (feeding point 14) between the center and an edge at the long side of a rectangular radiation antenna element 11. Then, a stub 13 is provided in the feeding strip line 12. The feeding point 14 in the rectangular radiation antenna element 11 is located at a position of low impedance in the radiation antenna element 11, and to which the feeding strip line 12 having the stub 13 is connected, thus matching impedance easily along with utilizing the matching function owing to the stub 13. Also, the radiation antenna element 11 having narrow width can be achieved without any manufacturing constraints, thus suppressing the level of the cross-polarized component lower.
