<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and improved mobile information terminal capable of improving the operability of user's predetermined processing such as viewing of contents, selection, video-recording reservation, browsing of associated information and the like by displaying content information received from a broadcast receiver and various kinds of associated information, relating to the contents, received from an information providing server. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile information terminal includes: an equipment communication unit, communication-connected with at least one or more broadcast receivers each receiving contents and content information relating to the contents from a content provider, for receiving content information from the broadcast receiver; a content display unit for displaying the content information received from the broadcast receiver; a server communication unit, communication-connected with an information providing server managing associated information related to the contents, for receiving from the information providing server associated information associated with the content information received from the broadcast receiver; and an associated information display unit for displaying the associated information received from the information providing server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
