PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set an optimal angle of field without performing a manual zoom operation in figure photography. SOLUTION: When a face is recognized by face recognition, an icon for size selection is displayed on a screen, and the largest face area is considered as an area for automatic zoom. When the desired size is selected by the operation of the icon for size selection, zooming of a photography optical system is performed so that the angle of field becomes the angle of field corresponding to the size (ratio of the object area to an imaging screen becomes the one corresponding to the selected size).
