<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous composition comprising brinzolamide being completely dissolved therein. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The aqueous composition is composed, in an aqueous solution, of brinzolamide and a polycarboxylic acid or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, an acid saccharide or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or a mucopolysaccharide or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. The aqueous composition is predicted to alleviate blurred vision on administration better than a conventional suspension ophthalmic solution to be expected for patients to use easier. In addition, it is expected that the production cost is reduced since the composition is completely dissolved so that the production is not complicated on the contrary that the production of the suspension ophthalmic solution needs complicated equipment.
