<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker in which the volume of cooling water can be easily adjusted so as to be a predetermined volume when the cooling water is stored in a tank. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a body 5 which includes heating means 3 and an inner pot 2 detachably housed therein, a lid body 7 joined to the body by a hinge 6 and openably closing the upper opening of the inner pot; a tank 4 storing the cooling water and detachably installed in the body, and a steam duct 9 which is interposed between the inner pot and the tank, guides steam generated from a heated object in the inner pot during cooking, and releases the steam into cooling water to be condensed. The tank 4 is configured with a transparent member, and a water volume adjusting scale 10 is provided at a position that is a water level when the water surface reaches a draining part when inclining the tank 4 filled with a predetermined volume of cooling water.
