PURPOSE: A 4D effect implementation system for home media and a method thereof are provided to find a future market after 3D technology and to perform an initiating role as alternative technology for improving content satisfaction of a user. CONSTITUTION: A 4D effect implementation system for home media includes an effect connection unit(100), a database unit(200), and an effect authoring unit(300), and a home server(400). The effect connection unit analyzes input content and generates an image database(210), an audio database(220), and an effect library(230). The effect authoring unit finds implementable effect through effect implementation devices(531-534). The effect authoring unit redesigns the implementable effect corresponding to device features of the effect implementation devices.
