<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture reproducer and the like capable of smoothing switching streaming-provided moving pictures. <P>SOLUTION: In the moving picture reproducer 301, a program storage part 302 stores names of programs to reproduce in a main area, a next area, and pre-area of a picture, and a provision request part 303 requests provision of streaming of a high quality moving picture of the program for the main area and those of low quality moving picture of the programs for the next area and the pre-area to store moving picture fragments in a buffer part 304. With respect to moving picture fragments to be reproduced at present, a reproduction part 305 reproduces high quality moving picture fragments preferentially in the main area and low quality moving picture fragments preferentially in the next area and the pre-area respectively. When a receiving part 306 detects input of an instruction while moving pictures are reproduced in the main area, the next area, and the pre-area, a program update part 307 updates the program reproduced in the pre-area or the next area to a program to reproduce in the main area on the basis of the instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
