<p>An antiglare film comprising a base material and, superimposed thereon, an antiglare layer containing microparticles. The antiglare layer on its surface has a configuration of minute unevenness. The configuration of minute unevenness of the antiglare layer is generated by applying a coating material containing microparticles onto the base material and, by the convection of the coating material, aggregating the microparticles. The thickness of the antiglare layer is in the range of average diameter of microparticles to thrice the average diameter of microparticles. The microparticles consist essentially of microparticles whose diameter is less than twice the thickness of the antiglare layer.</p> |
