摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device which achieves miniaturization or thinning of a housing in a camera having a flash unit made smaller in size in a direction parallel with an emitting surface from which light is emitted than size in a direction nearly perpendicular to the emitting surface. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the size of the flash unit 24 in the direction nearly parallel with the light emitting surface 24A thereof is defined as H, the size in the direction nearly perpendicular to the emitting surface 24A (size from the emitting surface 24A to a rear end) is defined as D, and size from a surface of the front 12A of the housing 12 to an inner surface of the back 12B of the housing 12 is defined as W, they satisfy H<D and W≤D. When a barrier 14 slides downward in figure, a flash aperture part 18 is exposed to the front of the housing 12, and the emitting surface 24A of the flash unit 24 is exposed from the flash aperture part 18.
