PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granule substance measurement method reducing measuring errors. SOLUTION: The method comprises: (A) imaging dispersed granule substances to take an image; (B) defining a size of a single largest granule substance and a flat degree of a single flattest granule substance respectively among the granule substances in the taken image; and (C) (i) treating to recognize the granule substances in the image by image analysis and (ii) treating to remove ones having a size larger than the size of the largest granule substance defined in (B) and ones having a flat degree larger than the flat degree of the flattest granule substance defined in (B), from measured data recognized as the granule substances at the step (i) by means of an image analysis apparatus recognizing the granule substances from the image of the granule substances.
