<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera equipped with a conversion lens, where the conversion lens can be easily mounted in front of an objective lens when in use, and can be stored in the camera body when not in use. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with a conversion lens unit 40 wherein the conversion lens 41 arranged freely mountably in front of the objective lens 31 is stored. The conversion lens unit 40 is disposed in the camera body 20 so that it can be rotationally moved between the mount position located in front of the objective lens 31 and the storage position disposed under the lens barrel by means of a hinge 50 having a rotating shaft extending in parallel to the horizontal direction under the objective lens 31.
