<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag in which an opening/closing type vent hole is opened in an early stage when an occupant wearing a seat belt and seated in a seat is brought into contact with a surface of an inflated airbag facing the occupant in a collision of a vehicle, and an airbag device having the airbag. <P>SOLUTION: An opening/closing type vent hole 12 to be opened/closed by a lid 13 is formed in right and left side faces of an airbag 1. A tether 14 for connecting the lid 13 to an occupant facing surface 1F of the airbag 1 is provided in the airbag 1. The tether 14 is connected to the occupant facing surface 1F at the height opposite to a head of the occupant when the airbag is inflated. When the airbag is inflated, a tether connection part 16 with the tether 14 being connected thereto out of the occupant facing surface 1F is pushed by the head of the occupant, and the tether 14 is loosened to open the lid 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
