<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a putter head having softer putting feeling and capable of decreasing backspin or increasing topspin by changing putting manners. <P>SOLUTION: In the putter head (1) on the face (3) of which a plurality of horizontal channels are formed, the channels comprise two different types of group; a first group of channels and a second group of channels. The channels (4) of the first group are formed 0.5-1.52 mm width and 0.25-0.5 mm depth, and the channels (5) of the second group are formed 0.1-0.5 mm width and 0.05-0.1 mm depth.
