PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method of generating a keyword using playlist information are provided to extract a keyword highly related to contents using a playlist, thereby generating a keyword list using the extracted keyword. CONSTITUTION: A playlist collector(110) collects playlists. An information analyzer(120) divides content explanation information from content identification information. A word analyzer(130) classifies search results according to each word. A searcher(140) transfers the search results related to the content identification information. A list generating unit(150) generates a keyword list.
