BATTERY CHARGING/DISCHARGING CONTROL METHOD

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charging/discharging control method capable of suppressing a battery from being deteriorated due to overcharging/overdischarging of the battery. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In view of a target charging rate decided to maintain the charging rate SOC of the battery 18 within a prescribed range, the upper output limit value Pbatmax and the lower output limit value Pbatmin of the battery 18 are decided. The power requested by an electric load 20 and the power generated with a generator 14 are limited by the upper output limit value Pbatmax and the lower output limit value Pbatmin to decide the actual discharging amount and the actual charging amount of the battery 18.
