<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make maintenance easy and constitution simple and to generate sufficient mutual flow within layers when materials to be plated in spite of a powder form move along the sidewall on the lower side of a barrel vessel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cylindrical barrel vessel 9 provided with gear wheels 10 at both ends is rolled back and forth in a direction orthogonal to an axial center on a pair of parallel rack rails 8 by a crank arm 14 clamping and reciprocally oscillating a circular shaft part 16 on one end side of thereof, and the rotating direction of the barrel vessel 9 is reversed in its forward direction and backward direction, and thereby even if the materials to be plated in the powder form are made to generate the sufficient mutual flow within the layers when the materials move along the sidewall on the lower side of the barrel vessel 9.
