PURPOSE: An electric connector is provided to reduce the fabrication cost thereof by preventing the increase of number of terminals. CONSTITUTION: A housing(10) is made of an electricity insulating material, and a metallic terminal(20) is supported in a housing. A metallic shield plate(30) is attached to the housing, and a first matching connector(2) has a housing(50) which includes a fitting recess unit(51) at the front side thereof. A fitting port has first and second reception regions which respectively receive first and second reception regions.
