The invention relates to a pipette tip comprising an attachment section (5) configured to be attached to a dispensing device, a liquid containing section (6) configured to receive at least part of an aspired liquid sample, and a liquid aspiration section (7), connected to the liquid containing section (6), and comprising a distal end aspiration opening (3) and at least one further aspiration opening (4) in a side wall (9). Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of a pipette tip.
