<p>A process for mitigation of interference in a mobile cellular network (1) comprising at least two base stations (2) for serving mobile terminals (3) is described, wherein
a) a first base station (2) shaping a first cell (3) receives a signal (r<Sub>n</Sub>) from a first mobile terminal (3) located in said first cell (4) as well as interference from at least one further cell (4);
b) the first base station (2) further receives information data (<Bold><Overscore ostyle="single">û</Overscore></Bold><Italic><Sub>n</Sub></Italic>) from at least one second base station (3); and
c) the received signal (r<Sub>n</Sub>) from the first mobile terminal (3) is being processed with the received information data (<Bold><Overscore ostyle="single">û</Overscore></Bold><Italic><Sub>n</Sub></Italic>) to generate an estimate (û<Sub>n</Sub>) of the signal as sent by the first mobile terminal (3).</p><p>Furthermore a base station of a mobile cellular network, comprising at least one input unit (26) for receiving signals (rn) originating from a mobile terminal (3) and least one communication interface (24, 25) for communication with a second base station (2) as well as a processing unit (21, 22, 23) is described.
