PURPOSE: A copolymer is provided to ensure high refractive index and light transmission, to enable synthesis by light such as ultraviolet rays, and to be used as an optical member having various shapes. CONSTITUTION: A copolymer includes monomers represented by chemical formula 1 and 2 as essential ingredients. In chemical formula 1 and 2, R1 is H or alkyl group; R2 is selected from the group consisting of aryl group, aryl alkyl group, alkoxy group, glycol group, and ether group; R3 is a glycol group. A method for manufacturing an optical member comprises the steps of: mixing a monomer represented by chemical formula 1 and a monomer represented by chemical formula 2 to form a resin composition and irradiating light to the resin composition.
