PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to restraint bad effect about picture quality, thereby easily realizing a high-speed display driving operation. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pixels is arranged in a matrix shape. Respective pixels includes at least one liquid crystal device(22A,22B) and at least one the first TFT(Thin Film Transistor) device(21A). By performing polarity inversion/application of driving voltage to the liquid crystal device of each pixel based on an image signal, a driving unit performs polarity inversion driving. The second thin film transistor device(21B) is controlled by the driving unit. The driving voltage based on the image signal is permitted about the liquid crystal device of the pixel according to control by the driving part.
