<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent (EL) element having long light emission lifetime. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element is equipped with a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, a light-emitting layer and an electron transport layer, in this order, in between an anode and a cathode, wherein the hole injection layer contains at least a conjugate compound and fluorine-containing polymer organic acid, and the hole injection layer has a film thickness of 0.1 nm-20 nm.
