<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of preventing impairment of the interest of a player watching the vicinity of a ball rolling portion by diversifying the motion of game balls rolling in the ball rolling portion, and improving the flexibility of the layout of ball guiding channels. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes a surrounding frame body, a ball rolling surface which is disposed within the surrounding frame body and on which game balls can roll in the horizontal direction, and a guide channel for guiding the game balls onto the ball rolling surface by discharging the game balls flowing down on a play area toward the ball rolling surface. The game machine also includes a rotation applying member for applying the rotation to the game balls guided onto the ball rolling surface by the guide channel, a light source capable of illuminating the rotation applying member by periodically blinking, and control means for controlling the cycle of rotation of the rotation applying member and the cycle of blinking of the light source. The control means makes the player watching the rotation applying member have an illusion caused by the stroboscopic phenomenon by controlling at least either the cycle of rotation of the rotation applying member or the cycle of blinking of the light source.
