<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential device capable of miniaturizing a differential case while reducing the number of part items. <P>SOLUTION: This differential device 1 has a ring gear 3, the differential case 2 connected to the ring gear 3, a pinion gear 4 and a side gear 5 stored in the differential case 2. In this differential device 1, the ring gear 3 and the differential case 2 are connected by spline joining in the radial direction of the ring gear 3.
