<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretensioner mechanism capable of arranging a gas removal hole while making it close to a central side of a rack member as much as possible in the state that a rod part is arranged at a suitable position of the rack member, and enhancing machining property. <P>SOLUTION: The pretensioner mechanism for the seat belt is provided with the rack member 10 movably stored in a cylinder 118 and having a rod part 12 formed with a rack gear 14 engageable with a pinion 112 on one side surface while directed from a distal end side to a base end side and a disk-like piston part 16 slidably fitted to an inner wall of the cylinder 118 at the base end side. On the other side surface different from the side surface of the rod part 12 formed with the rack gear 14, a V groove part 18 extending to the piston part 16 is formed. On the piston part 16 of the rack member 10, the gas removal hole 30 for removing a gas pressure in a cylinder chamber 132 is formed such that it is penetrated in a thickness direction of the piston part 16 and is opened into the V groove part 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
