<p>An exhaust gas purifying device provided with a case (4) in which a soot filter for exhaust gas purification is contained, separate cases (3, 5) provided at the upstream and downstream, respectively, of the case (4) with respect to the direction of flow of exhaust gas, and a differential pressure sensor (7) for measuring a pressure difference between the upstream side and downstream side of the soot filter. The case (4) in which the soot filter is contained and either of the separate cases (3, 5) which is provided at the upstream side or the downstream side of the case (4) are respectively provided with pipe members (71, 72) for leading the pressure in the case (3, 5) to the differential pressure sensor (7). When, for example, the pipe members (71, 72) have different lengths, if a person tries to install the pipe members (71, 72) in a wrong direction relative to the case (4), the person finds that the length of the pipe member (71, 72) is too short or too long, and as a result, a connection error is prevented.</p> |
