PURPOSE: An analysis method for identifying a material which regulates interaction between RNA molecule and protein is provided to simply and quickly identify the material and analyze specificity of sequence of identified compound. CONSTITUTION: An analysis for identifying an agent which controls interaction between ARE sequence fragment and target protein comprises: a step of selecting ARE sequence fragment and probing; a step of preparing a target protein which binds to the ARE sequence fragment and forms complex of ARE sequence fragment and the target protein; a step of detecting formation of the complex; and a step of selecting a candidate based on the complex formation. The ARE sequence fragment contains mRNA sequence of TNF-α, IL-1, IL-2, VEGF, c-myc, c-jun, N-myc, c-fos or Cox 2. The target protein is HuC protein.
