Animal bones which have been separated from flesh by milling or cutting are chipped or shved without removing any remaining blood or fats. The shavings or chips are added to pork pates, etc. in amounts which give the foodstuff a softened texture and pleasing taste. May be used as human or animal foodstuff. |
