<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact image forming apparatus which easily supplies paper without requiring space equal to or large than the installation area when supplying the paper, and prevents the discharged paper from being blown by air. <P>SOLUTION: In a printer, a fed paper stacking part 30 on which paper to be fed to an image forming part 16 is stacked is arranged at the upper part of an apparatus body, the image forming part is arranged below the fed paper stacking part, and the paper with an image formed by the image forming part is discharged to the outside of the apparatus by a pair of paper discharge rollers 9 and 10.
