<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric joint box which copes with a change in the specification of a cassette component by the use of the same structure and improves the degree of freedom in determining the direction of inserting a cassette structure component. <P>SOLUTION: A component insertion unit 16 of the electric joint box 10 in which the cassette structure component 81 can be inserted is a hole so formed as to penetrate in a direction A1 of inserting the cassette structure component 81. The inner wall 18 of the component insertion unit 16 is provided with a first locking member 22 that locks the first cassette structure component 81 inserted from one end of the hole in the first insertion direction A1 and with a second locking member 25 that locks a cassette structure component inserted from the other end of the hole in a second insertion direction.
