<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular ceiling structure capable of suppressing occurrence of troubles such as wrinkles, deflection and folds of a ceiling material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the vehicular ceiling structure 1, a long reinforcing rib 3 formed of a resin having the coefficient of thermal expansion different from that of a ceiling material 2 is arranged on the ceiling material 2 of a vehicle. The reinforcing rib 3 consists of a plurality of divided ribs divided with a space 30 in the longitudinal direction. An upper projecting part 322a and a lower projecting part 323a projecting in the longitudinal direction are formed above and below a front end 321a in one divided rib 32 out of adjacent divided ribs 31, 32. One divided rib 32 and the other divided rib 31 are fitted to each other while a lower side 324a of the upper projecting part 322a of one divided rib 32 and an upper side 325a of the lower projecting part 323a are vertically opposite to a rear end 311b of the other divided rib 31.
