METHOD FOR ALLOCATING GROUP RESOURCE IN A BROADBAND WIRELESS ACCESS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for allocating group resource in a broadband wireless access system is provided to minimize the number of groups supported by base stations. CONSTITUTION: The control information map including the group resource allocation message corresponding to the group which the terminal belongs is received from the base station. The data is received through the downward link resource which the group resource allocation message directs. According to modulation/coding scheme level in which the group is applied to data, it is classified based on the resource unit which data occupies. The control information map includes the non-user specific information. The non-user specific information includes the first indicator which directs whether the group resource allocation message includes the control information map.
