PURPOSE: A dish washer is provided to secure a space for shattering foreign materials by moving a disposer in a rotation shaft direction. CONSTITUTION: A dish washer comprises a sump(10), a rotation shaft(22), and a disposer(16). Washing water is collected to the sump. The rotation shaft is arranged in the sump. The disposer is coupled to the rotation shaft, and shatters foreign materials mixed in the washing water. And the disposer is moved in a rotation shaft direction. An elastic member(23) elastically moves the disposer toward the rotation shaft. A filter(17) purifies the washing water in the sump.
