PURPOSE: An apparatus for charging a core bar in a pipe and a method of operating the same are provided to reduce the processing expense by removing a cutting process after the drawing process is completed. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for charging a core bar in a pipe comprises a core bar support(22), a cylinder(20), a body(30), and a driving part(40). The core bar support settles a cored bar(10). The cylinder part comprises a cylinder(21), a first sensor(23) and a second sensor(24). The cylinder pushes the cored bar using the pneumatic pressure inside a pulling pipe. The first sensor operates the cylinder so that a claw part(11) of the cored bar from the pulling pipe. A spring(31) with a buffer function in the movement of a cored bar supplying apparatus is formed in inside. The driving part comprises a third roller(45), a fourth roller(46) and brackets(41,43). The third roller and fourth roller are driven with a drive motor part(47). The bracket prevents the self rotation of the body part.
