PURPOSE: A skin external composition containing pseudoceramide complex including pseudoceramide and stearic acid is provided to ensure high moisture dipping ability and skin moisturization effect. CONSTITUTION: A pseudoceramide complex contains 10-90 weight% of pseudoceramide and stearic acid based on total weight. The complex further contains 0.0001-30 weight% of cholesterol. The pseudoceramide is denoted by one selected from chemical formulas 1 to 6. The weight ratio of pseudoceramide and stearic acid is 1:1, and pseudoceramide and cholesterol is 1:0.5. The skin external composition contains 0.01-40 weight% of the pseudoceramide complex. The composition is cosmetic composition or pharmaceutical composition.
